Here are our tips for a top experience in Harrogate and beyond.

Having travelled the course with its designers and scoured Harrogate in search of its best drinking spots decided to plot up for the week at the Corner Haus, situated on what is likely to be a decisive section. The tricksy off-camber penultimate corner is tackled in multiple directions and has a great outside space for watching the riders pass. Plus our friends at Visit Flanders are also there alongside the Belgian beers on tap.

Join the podcast – we’ll be recording a special edition of our show at lunchtime on Wednesday in the Corner Haus with host Ian Parkinson and Executive Editor Ian Cleverly with guests looking over the week in Yorkshire and the racing ahead.

Later in the evening, after the Men’s Elite Time Trial, our columnist Ned Boulting is hosting a special show that he has dubbed ‘Have I Got Cycling News For You’ to celebrate the release of the 2019 edition of the cyclist’s almanac The Road Book. It should be a riot (in a good way), with some big name guests on the night.

Every day, from Thursday to Saturday, All Things Ride will be running rideouts with Belgian legend Johan Museeuw. On Saturday evening, our editor Andy McGrath will interview Johan on stage. You’ll need to book tickets for both the rides and the evening.

We’ll be closing the show over at the North Bar with our friends at Pelotan once the sun goes down. With Alec Briggs on the decks, it’s sure to be rocking and upstairs there is an exhibition of cycling flags, designed by the likes of Sir Paul Smith, Taylor Phinney, David Millar and more.
