Events Manager

Job brief

Rouleur is looking for an Event Manager to manage the delivery of Rouleur Live and expand our events beyond that award-winning show. You’ll work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure the show is delivered to the high standard of the Rouleur brand in a cost-effective manner. We’re looking for someone with project management skills and an understanding of marketing and promotion techniques. An ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with the organisational ability that means nothing at the event is left to chance.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of event planning and delivery, according to target audience and objectives
  • Manage relationships with exhibiting brands to activate their presence in the most impactful way possible
  • Proactively suggest and deliver engaging show content
  • Manage the stage show schedule, liaising between talent, production and marketing
  • Work with Marketing Manager to activate the promotional activities for the event
  • Efficiently liaise with Operations, Marketing and the Show Team to ensure the smooth running of the event as well as planning and post event responsibilities
  • Manage the relationships and delivery of agreements with vendors and suppliers in conjunction with Operations Manager
  • Manage the show budgets ensuring no overspend and maximum profitability for the business.
  • Supervise and be main point of call for all onsite staff
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and proactively resolve any problems that might occur
  • Analyse the event’s success and report/suggest areas for improvement
