We are pleased to be able to share a rare and unique opportunity to join Rouleur’s award-winning editorial team, helping to form the creative identity of one of the most prestigious media brands in the cycling world.
Rouleur is renowned across the world for delivering the highest level editorial content. We are looking for a digital tech writer to help take Rouleur’s digital product content to the next level, as well as delivering commercial content for our clients across the cycling industry.
Rouleur is one of few independent publications in the cycling media space, offering a successful candidate the chance to be involved in many aspects of the business, taking a formative role in the considerable growth of Rouleur’s digital channels.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Writing in-depth features around the latest tech and gear, and the best brands in cycling, for Rouleur and commercial partners across the industry
- Producing and commissioning copy for products and blogs on Rouleur’s Emporium and for Rouleur’s agency clients such as Ashmei and Passoni
- Developing relationships with key brands for both editorial and retail purposes
- Attending bike and equipment launches across the UK and beyond
- Testing equipment and bikes for review and product showcase pieces
- Helping to take a leading role in Rouleur’s social and newsletter content around gear
- Producing and commissioning copy for products and blogs on Rouleur’s Emporium and for Rouleur’s agency clients such as Ashmei and Passoni
Key skills and experience:
- Above all else, you must be an exceptional writer, and have a passion for cycling
- Three to five years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or digital content creation
- A strong knowledge of bike tech and products
- An understanding of analytics tools
- A strong knowledge of content trends in social media and search engine optimisation
- A strong grasp of digital product copy and affiliate marketing content
- An entrepreneurial approach to digital content – developing original and innovative ways to deliver Rouleur’s brand to different audiences through new channels
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Extensive experience of working across different CMS
Desirable:
- Photography skills
- Photo and video editing experience
- Basic html coding knowledge
