Social Media & Community Executive

The Social Media & Community Executive at Rouleur is an entrepreneurial and creative marketer, integrated in the world of cycling, comfortable at strategizing content and partnership plans as well as executing campaigns to a high level.

Working in London with our commercial and editorial teams, this person ensures that the outbound marketing plan complements and supports Rouleur across owned channels - while keeping the authentic voice of the brand. 

The main KPI of this role is to broaden and deepen the relationship that Rouleur has with our audience of readers, listeners and visitors as well as our clients through social channels, to expand our partnerships and ultimately our revenues. That will entail managing existing partnerships to maximise mutual value as well as finding new partnerships that grow Rouleur’s top of the funnel reach through high quality content and activation.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver a world class social media strategy that champions Rouleur’s editorial output, race coverage, and other commercial offerings.
  • Focus on increasing the audience of Rouleur through partnerships and organic reach.
  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns, activating Rouleur’s content/products as well as that of our commercial partners.
  • Work with marketing, commercial and agency teams to plan, produce and distribute said campaigns.
  • Play a pivotal role in promoting the Rouleur Live show before, during and after the event.
  • Activate Rouleur Society partners.
  • Widen perception of Rouleur from that of a magazine to a cycling lifestyle brand
  • Use digital platforms as content streams, not just communication channels, that bring new people to the brand and reinforce the engagement/loyalty of the existing audience
  • Increase traffic and user engagement by effective creation of unique content
  • Report on, and prove the value of, social media as part of Rouleur’s media mix.
  • Maintain the Rouleur community, responding to, passing on and/or solving queries from our audience in a manner appropriate of a spokesperson of the brand
