Desire: Pro rides & dreamy bikes from the Colnago Owners Day

An Elizabethan manor house, top professionals and rows of glistening Italian bikes on the lawn: it could only be the Colnago Owners Day

Set in comfortable surrounds of Chavenage House in the Cotswolds, Colnago and Le Col played host to the Colnago Owners Day last weekend.

 

Not just a chance for some 200 owners to swoon over one another’s Italian stallions, it was also an opportunity to head out onto the surrounding roads with Ben Swift, fresh from fifth place at the World Championships in Bergen.

Upon return from the hilly 40 mile loop, riders were greeted with a champagne reception and live jazz band on the lawn.

When energy stores were sufficiently restored, attendees settled into a Q&A with Ben Swift and enjoyed Rouleur’s gallery of Colnagos before heading home with a subscription to the world’s finest cycling magazine. Lucky bunch…
