Where individuality meets adventure

Gravel riding has continued to grow in popularity over the past couple of years, mainly because of its adventure-style riding that allows riders to take in magnificent landscapes and beautiful surroundings. In line with this rise, British bike manufacturer Ribble Cycles has been expanding its gravel range, offering an extensive range of bikes designed for the rough stuff. But, today, Ribble is taking gravel style to the next level by introducing its new Stone Collection – a unique series of three CustomColour hand painted finishes that represent the natural landscapes that have come to define gravel riding.

Taking inspiration from slate strewn riverbeds, marble mantles and granite outcroppings, each bike is meticulously hand painted by Ribble’s master craftsmen, promising that no two bikes will ever be the same. According to Ribble, every finish represents the ultimate expression of bike customisation.

“With this all-new paint finish, we are proudly showcasing the design, craftsmanship and true technical capabilities of our team and our newly upgraded in-house paint facility,” Jamie Burrow, head of product at Ribble says. “Each hand painted bike is a unique work of art – no two paint finishes will ever be the same.”

The three Stone colourways – marble white, granite grey, and slate black – can be applied to any of the British brand’s gravel bikes, excluding its titanium model, further extending its mission to providing people with a truly unique bike.

To celebrate the launch of these unique colourways and designs, Ribble has also launched a limited-edition Gravel SL Marble Hero build which features the marble paintwork and top spec components, including Shimano GRX Di2 1x11-speed, Zipp 303 S wheels and Level 5 carbon integrated handlebars, for £4,499.

Ribble will be showcasing its bespoke designs in Veneto, Italy, at the Gravel World Championships on October 7 and 8, 2023, where three riders from the Elite Ribble Collective have been selected to ride for Team GB – Maddy Nutt, Mikey Mottram, and Metheven Bond.

Nutt explains that she has been riding the Gravel SL model around the world this year at a number of races like Unbound, Gravel Earth Series and Raiders Gravel. “I’m thrilled to be representing Team GB on this lush new Stone Collection CustomColour machine at the Gravel World Championships,” Nutt said.

With Ribble's new Stone Collection, individuality meets adventure, offering riders a truly one-of-a-kind gravel bike that immerses them into the essence of gravel.

The Stone collection is now available on the Ribble Cycles website
