A versatile and exciting line-up on stage shaped the final day of Rouleur Live 2022.

Artisan framebuilders began proceedings as the masterminds behind bespoke brands like Condor, Sarto, Battaglin and Passoni discussed the intricacies of creating stunning bicycles. We were then immersed into the world of track racing as Ed Clancy, Kelsey Mitchell and Francois Ribero spoke about the newly formed UCI Track Champions League and its potential to revolutionise the discipline. Anna Henderson, Ben O’Connor and Carlos Verona were up next, quizzed by Juan Antonio Flecha on life as a modern stage racer.

One of the biggest names on the roll call this weekend, Demi Vollering, took to the stage to analyse her incredible career so far, the Tour de France Femmes and she gave an insight into what it takes to get to the top of women’s cycling.

But Rouleur Live isn’t just about the professional road racing sphere, with gravel racers like Liam Yates speaking on stage, as well the teams behind epic endurance events like Badlands and Transcontinental. Together, they looked at why so many people are drawn to this alternative racing scene.

To round out the show, two huge names in cycling – both from very different eras of the sport – greeted a packed out theatre. The first was Johan Museeuw, known to many as the Lion of Flanders, looking back at what makes a true Flandrian rider. The second was Lachlan Morton, a rider famous for his incredible long distance rides which he does to raise money for charity. Perhaps the most impressive of them so far was his Alt Tour, where Morton rode ahead of the Tour de France peloton, beating them to Paris. What does it take to cycle 5500 kilometres alone? What was his lowest point? How painful is it to cycle over six hours a day in Birkenstocks? Lachlan spilt the beans to an adoring audience.

The world’s biggest cycling brands also were exhibiting their finest products and latest innovations, allowing people to get up close with the best bike tech on the market.

Here’s a selection of the best pictures from the final day of Rouleur Live.
