Giro d'Italia 2026 stage six results: Davide Ballerini wins crash-marred sprint in Naples

Paul Magnier, Jonathan Milan and Dylan Groenewegen were unable to contest the winning sprint after a crash inside the final 200m

14 MAY 2026

Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) won a frenzied sprint to win stage six of the Giro d'Italia in Naples, ahead of Jasper Stuyven and Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step). The Italian makes it two wins for XDS Astana Team at this Giro after Guillermo Thomas Silva won stage two.
