Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) won a frenzied sprint to win stage six of the Giro d'Italia in Naples, ahead of Jasper Stuyven and Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step). The Italian makes it two wins for XDS Astana Team at this Giro after Guillermo Thomas Silva won stage two.
It was another chaotic finish as two Unibet Rose Rockets riders, including one of the favourites for the stage, Dylan Groenewegen crashed in the final corner, bringing down a large number of the main contenders such as Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek).
