Jhonatan Narváez (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) won his third stage of this Giro d'Italia, beating Enric Mas (Movistar) to the line in Chiavari. The pair broke away from their breakaway companions on the final climb of the day, the uncategorised Cogorno, cresting 13km from the finish.
Third on the day was Diego Ulissi (XDS Astana) who won the sprint from the chase group which included Chris Harper (Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling) and Aleksandr Vlasov
(Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe).
