When it comes to modifying race bikes to save grams, there’s no event quite like the British hill-climb championship.
The 2017 edition took place on a one-mile course at Hedley on the Hill in Northumberland, with Dan Evans and Joscelin Lowden taking the titles.
But it was the competitors’ bikes with their lightweight builds and makeshift weight savings that North East based photographer Chris Auld turned his lens too.
