We are looking for an entrepreneurial and creative marketer to join our dynamic team and drive growth and engagement within our membership programs.

Role Overview

As the Membership Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns to maintain and expand Rouleur’s membership base. Working closely with commercial and editorial teams, you will ensure campaigns align with our brand’s authentic voice and core values. You will play a pivotal role in broadening our reach, deepening audience relationships, and enhancing our members’ overall experience across all aspects of Rouleur’s world.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that promote Rouleur’s content, products, and membership offerings.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners to plan and deliver impactful joint marketing initiatives.
  • Lead content-driven campaigns across email, social media, and digital platforms to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Optimize marketing automation and workflows using email, content, and social tools.
Membership Experience
  • Shape and enhance the Rouleur membership experience across all platforms, including events, shop, travel, and subscriptions.
  • Evolve the perception of Rouleur membership from a magazine subscription to a premium cycling lifestyle offering.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for membership-related inquiries, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
Relationship Management
  • Build and manage strong relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders to deepen engagement.Activate and deliver value for Rouleur Society partners through creative campaigns and collaborations.
  • Identify and establish new customer segments to expand Rouleur’s reach and relevance.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, customer behaviors, and key metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Regularly review customer data to identify opportunities for improved targeting, segmentation, and personalisation.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven Expertise in Marketing: Strong background in email marketing, social media management, and lead generation.
  • Relationship Management: Experience working with clients, partners, and customer-facing roles.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to design campaigns that capture attention and deliver measurable results.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in analyzing customer and campaign data to refine strategies.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Commitment to delivering superior experiences through effective service management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Membership growth: Increase member acquisition through targeted campaigns and partnerships

  • Retention: Reduce member churn by enhancing satisfaction and engagement

  • Revenue: Improve yield per member through upselling and cross-selling initiatives


Other details

Role will be largely based out of our London office, with opportunities for travel. Salary will be dependent on experience.
