Editorial Assistant - Chinese

Job brief

Rouleur is looking for an entrepreneurial editorial assistant to help us produce our content in Chinese. Fluent in Chinese and English, working closely with our writers and editors, the position will create a Chinese operation for us, helping deliver our stories to as wide an audience as possible. We’re looking for someone who can take the initiative and lead an exciting new area of our business. You’ll need multi-language fluency and an understanding of the cycling industry and sport. Experience in using native social media platforms and editorial tools is required.

Rouleur is one of few independent businesses in the cycling media space, offering a successful candidate the chance to be involved in many aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day translation, proofing and scheduling of social media posts across various social platforms
• Upload and produce articles for the website
• Construct regular Rouleur newsletters for a Chinese audience
• Aiding the digital editor in auditing and the maintaining the website’s SEO and key statistics for the Chinese audience
• Writing/updating articles when required
