Daniel Healey is an exercise physiologist and sports nutritionist with wide experience across the international high performance sport network. He plays a vital role in Rouleur Performance.
During the 2008-2012 London Olympic cycle he was Lead Performance Nutritionist then Director of Sports Nutrition at High Performance Sport New Zealand. In this role Daniel lead a team of specialist nutritionists and dieticians that serviced over 500 Olympic level athletes in all sports leading into the Games.
In 2013 he accepted the role of Head Sports Scientist at BMC Professional Cycling Team.
In 2014-2015 Daniel was Head of Sports Science at Tinkoff-Saxo Professional Cycling Team.
In 2015 Tinkoff-Saxo were victorious at the Giro d’Italia and numerous other one day races. In 2020 he was a private consultant to many professional cyclists including Lisa Brennauer who was voted 'Female Cyclist of the Year'.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Exercise Physiology & Performance Nutrition), Master of Sports Science by Research (Exercise Physiology & Human Nutrition) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is also a Registered Nutritionist (R.Nutr).
