New podcast: From Where I Ride with Alice Towers

New podcast available to listen to now

Cycling is a special sport because it takes place on the greatest stage there is – the open landscapes of the real world.

The culture, places and people you find when on two wheels are the very best thing about riding bikes, and the most memorable stories are written when we take the time to explore, look up and appreciate what surrounds us.

From Where I Ride is a new podcast series discussing the areas which truly mean something to our interviewees – whether its the climb on which they fought demons on a rainy day, or the most beautiful viewpoint they've ever discovered, or the race where they secured the biggest result of their career.

Episode one features Canyon//SRAM professional Alice Towers. She learnt her trade on the mucky country lanes of Derbyshire and since then she's been the British national champion, supported Kasia Niewiadoma on Alpe d'Huez in the Tour de France Femmes and suffered through races like Paris-Roubaix.

She talks about her favourite training routes at home, in Andorra and in Cape Town and discusses the rides that have meant the most to her. If you want to be inspired to get out and explore on two wheels, listen now.

Produced in association with Hammerhead
