Colnago is colour - A pop-up showroom just a few steps from Rouleur Live

Come and experience Colnago's offering at Rouleur Live, including a retrofitting service and exhibitions with their newest speed machines as well as some of their most iconic bikes

In collaboration with Colnago

From November 13 to 15, in London, at 2 Ely’s Yard, right on the same square as the entrance to Rouleur Live, Colnago will open its pop-up showroom: a dedicated space where visitors can discover the brand’s latest releases up close, as well as some historic bikes from the Colnago archive.

The brand, which over the years has distinguished itself for both innovation and respect for tradition, will use this space to present a narrative that weaves together craftsmanship and technological research. At the Colnago is colour! event the brand will be launching new frame colours for two of their well-known models: the Steelnovo and the V5Rs.

During the event, the Retrofitting service — the certification procedure dedicated to Colnago bike owners —  will be available for free (normally it is carried out online for a fee).

For three days, it will therefore be possible to bring your own bike and request the official certification that confirms its authenticity: a special opportunity to access the service at no cost and speak directly with a Colnago expert. This service is not available for owners of the C68, Y1Rs, V5Rs and V4Rs models, as the NFC tag certifying authenticity is already included as standard.

Retrofitting verifies the originality of the frame kit – frame and fork – and issues a certification recorded on the blockchain, ensuring traceability and value.
Normally, the process takes place online, by submitting photos, the serial number, and proof of purchase (invoice), but at Rouleur Live it will be carried out in person, giving visitors the opportunity to interact directly with the Colnago expert present in London.

By registering their bike through the Colnago Retrofitting program, the owner gains access to several benefits, including a certificate of authenticity that confirms the originality of the frame, strengthening the legal recognition of ownership and providing protection against counterfeiting.

This document also simplifies any future resale, meeting the needs of those who are looking for clear guarantees of provenance and value. In addition, owners of a certified bike can access exclusive services connected to blockchain technology and take part in activities reserved for Colnago owners.

Retrofitting will be available on November 13 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on November 14 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm — with an evening event and DJ set — and on November 15 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Colnago models on display: tradition and innovation

The exhibition selection at the pop-up showroom organised for Rouleur Live will showcase the most representative models from Colnago’s current range, alongside a selection of historic track bicycles — celebrating the recent launch of the T1Rs, Colnago’s new track bike.

The V5Rs, the latest evolution of Colnago’s V Series, is a versatile racing bike designed to excel on any terrain and compete at WorldTour level. The development of this model required balancing multiple factors: lightness, aerodynamics, responsiveness, and handling precision. Alongside the V5Rs, people will discover two new colour versions of the revolutionary Steelnovo, the new steel bike frameset presented a year ago. The Steelnovo is a steel bicycle that combines over seventy years of craftsmanship with the most modern construction standards. Its clean and refined design interprets Colnago’s aesthetics in a contemporary way, while offering high-level performance and that unmistakable ride feel that has always distinguished the brand.

The C68 Road is a high-end road model designed to offer the highest quality riding experience. At the heart of the project is a modular structure that sets this frame — and the entire C-Series — apart. Like all models in the series, it is the result of fully handcrafted work carried out in Italy, and it will be presented in its latest colourways.

The Colnago Y1Rs represents the highest level of aerodynamic efficiency. This bike is designed to deliver outstanding performance in the fastest races, combining cutting-edge technological solutions with an innovative design tailored for sprinters and breakaway specialists.

For the gravel segment, the G4-X will be on display — a well-balanced racing gravel bike designed to ensure consistent performance in any situation. It is the result of careful refinement of all the elements that matter when riding on dirt roads or racing: handling, lightness, downhill control, stability, and frame responsiveness.

The T1Rs marks Colnago’s return to track competition and has just made its debut at the UCI London 3 Day. The frame has been designed with great attention to reducing aerodynamic drag at high speeds and improving efficiency through the significant stiffness of its structure.

The frame configuration is versatile and can be adapted both for pursuit and time trial events as well as for endurance and sprint disciplines. The dedicated components are interchangeable and easily adjustable, making it simple to modify and fine-tune the setup from one race to the next.

Speed and history: Colnago track bikes on display

A special opportunity to see up close some of Colnago’s most iconic and significant bicycles in the world of track racing. The Oval CX Pista stands out for its oval-shaped tubes, which increase vertical stiffness and the aerodynamic efficiency of the frame. Built with specific lugs, it is a copy of the bike used by Tony Rominger for his 1994 hour record (55.291 km).

The Master Equilateral Pista, created in the 1980s to showcase Colnago’s innovation and designed in 1986 for Eros Poli for his Hour Record attempt, is defined by its stiffness, reactivity, and distinctive design. Produced in limited numbers, it is now highly sought after by collectors.

The Master Pista, built in the mid-1980s, is a timeless classic, recognisable by its thin, star-shaped steel tubes — a hallmark of Colnago’s expertise in lugged frame construction.

Filippo Ganna rode the K.One, designed for speed on the track, when he won the European title in the Individual Pursuit in 2017. The carbon monocoque frame, optimised for aerodynamics and stiffness, features a blue livery dedicated to the Italian National Team.

The C42 embodies boldness and innovation. It was designed for Tony Rominger’s third Hour Record attempt. The carbon monocoque frame, entirely made in Italy, featured a rear fairing that improved aerodynamics, but it was later declared “non-compliant” by the UCI because it was considered too futuristic.

Over the three days in London, visitors will have the chance to engage directly with the Colnago world and its bicycles — created as performance tools and later becoming symbols of Italian style and design, the expression of a story that continues to evolve.
