Inspirational reading
I am always on the look out for cycling adventures. This book - "Around the World" piqued my interest. The narrative has delivered up countless ideas about what/where and how I may go next. The pictorial essay always provided the colour, the sense and feel of what to expect. I recommend this book to those that are adventurers at heart - looking for the next idea - or those that love to here about taking the roads less travelled. Kudos to author, Fredrika.

This is a beautiful book about having the courage to ride alone into the unknown. Also stories about humanity good and bad. Fredrika rides surely with fear towards some of the unknown situations, never allowing self pity to defeat her wonderful spirit despite some immense physical pain, saddle sores and bike problems. Fredrika overcomes the dangers of being a stranger in a strange land when crossing hostile borders. It is human kindness that shines through in those wonderful photos of the warm faces of the people. Frederika shows a typical bike rider’s attitude to get through, never giving up, something we can all learn from. Don’t let us forget this was a woman making an epic journey. Bless you Frederika.
