This event has been and gone. We will be doing similar things in the future
You can read how the evening went here
Rouleur Magazine cordially invites you to the first in a series of evenings in the company of the great and good of world cycling. To celebrate our inaugural dinner and the launch of Herbie Sykes’ fantastic new book chronicling the history of the Giro d’Italia, Maglia Rosa, we have lined up a truly spectacular array of guests.
Eddy Merckx
Five-time winner of the Giro d’Italia, plus 24 stages, two points jerseys and one mountains classification. Without doubt, the greatest.
Italo Zilioli
Runner-up three times running (’64, ’65, ’66) and good friend of Merckx. Considered by many, including Sykes, to be the best rider never to win the Giro.
Herbie Sykes
The author flies in from Turin to share his thoughts on the race that is his consuming passion.
Phil Liggett
The ‘Voice of Cycling’ hosts the evening’s proceedings with his usual aplomb, talking to our guests about this great race. Phil has reported on the Tour de France a staggering 38 times.
Each dinner guest will receive a copy of Maglia Rosa, signed by Merckx, Zilioli and the author.
