We kick off the issue with something of a new school trials special, first speaking to Hans Rey on how he escaped the small world of trials to become, for a long time at least, the most famous man in mountain biking. We move on to Alex Rankin and his (hilarious in the most part) memories of his video series Sprung - a series that led to him meeting and working with Chris Akrigg, another trials rider who`s made a career as an all round mountain biker.
From there, deputy Editor Andy Waterman explores the world of coaching on a trip to Spain with Neil Donoghue and Pure Mountains. Most of us recognise that some expert feedback would make us better riders, but how do you know what you`re getting?
Moving on, Mike Davis explores the cult of Yeti on a Yeti Tribe meet, and Matt Page reports from the Scott 24 in Australia, a stand-in World Solo 24hr Champs after the 24hrs of Adrenalin in Canada was cancelled at the last minute. Lastly, veteran bike tester Steve Worland lifts the lid on the murky world of magazine bike tests.
